We do not sell your information.
Not to management companies, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There is no lead-buying customer and no data-sharing arrangement, and the business model does not have room for one — we are paid a placement fee by the company a Board selects, once.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Several state laws require us to offer this. We are offering it, and the honest answer is that there is nothing to opt out of: BoardMatch does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Submitting the form below records your preference anyway, and we will honour it.
What you can ask for
A copy of the personal information associated with you — your intake, your bid, your messages, and your account.
Anything inaccurate, fixed. Most of it you can edit yourself in your portal.
Your account and personal information removed. Some records tied to a completed placement are retained where we are required to.
Recorded and honoured, though we do not sell or share personal information in the first place.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as those laws define it, and we do not want any.
If we decline a request you can appeal, and a different person reviews it.
Make a request
We verify identity before acting on a request, respond within the period your state’s law requires, and never charge for it. Requests route to our support desk.
Plain answers
Do you sell my information?
No. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Boards are not the product here — a Board running a real search is what makes a placement worth paying for, which is the entire business model.
Who sees my contact details?
A management company, one at a time, at the moment your Board requests a meeting with that company. Never before, never in bulk, and never as a default setting.
What about the aggregate data you publish?
Market statistics are de-identified and suppressed below ten observations, so no association is identifiable. That is a different thing from personal information and we do not derive it from anything you would consider private.
Do you use tracking cookies?
We use what the site needs to function and basic analytics. There is no advertising network on this site, because we do not sell advertising.
